THE CLASS BEFORE CHRISTMAS
Wednesday, December 16, 7:00pm – 9:30pm, Ainslie Arts Centre, Elouera St (two blocks from Canberra CBD)
(no costume required to attend this, or any other, class, lol…)
A final chance to connect with improvisation students from all levels and courses, joining together for a celebration class of a great year, as an impro community, or to meet for the first time. We went into lockdown and came out the other side, with a bunch of new people and old, more enthused than ever about the good times and learning we share.
If you’re new, you’re also welcome to come and meet us and enjoy the fun, because Head Tutor and Artistic Director, Nick Byrne, is promising an easygoing evening that will include some games and exercises that are new to any student attending, and themed to the festive season. After class, we’ll no doubt retire to somewhere we can share final glass of cheer, before the Christmas/Break.
See you there, if you reserve a place, here;

If you’d just like a quick splash of spontaneity in your life, or you’d like to fast-taste impro, before joining our regular weekly course, Prepare To Be Unprepared (enrolling every quarter), why not try one of our popular Impro Tasters.
Led by internationally touring improvisation teacher, Nick Byrne, you’ll have a fun-filled session of practical exercises and games that introduce you to the fundamental principles of improvised theatre, that you can use on stage or in everyday life, for confidence, communications and social skills.
Nick provides a warm learning environment, and is an internationally respected performing artist, working in more than 30 countries.
If you like it, you might want to enrol in one of our short courses, one-night-per-week, to qualify to participate in shows, or simply to have a bright, positive moment in every week.
